“ Mi Cocina in Newport just might have the best Mexican food in Cincinnati! For the sake of credibility, my gf and I both grew up in SoCal and we are both Mexican ourselves, so of course, we grew up eating homemade Mexican food. We moved here last year and have tried many Mexican places around Greater Cincinnati, which some have been decent, but we think Mi Cocina is above and beyond the best in the area. All the food is delicious and tastes very fresh and homemade. And their portion sizes are VERY generous and affordable. Definitely not your typical Americanized Mexican restaurant. We had the Flautas Mexicanas, a sope de carne asada and a Torta Cubana, as well as aguas de pina and Jamaica to drink. All amazing! Would definitely recommend! This place is hard to miss, located on Carothers Rd next to the shopping center with the Ross and Burlington. ”
“ The owner is absolutely amazing and welcoming. This place was recommended online it truly is a restaurant to remember. This will be a new regular. Highly recommend! Portions are great and the prices are fantastic. Thank u for being reasonable when the economy is overpriced! ”
“ One of the best Hawaiian Style Fajitas and TBone Steaks I have had. Everything was made fresh to order and the orders could feed 23 people. The fresh pineapple, onions, and peppers made the dish not to mention the generous portions of meats. ”
“ my 2nd time here. i drove 30 minutes for it bc it is sooooo good. the tortas are HUGEEEE. and yummy too we got the pollo guadalajara and the steak torta, everything was grilled perfectly and the flavors were paired well with each other. my server was super sweet and nice! ”
“ I went for lunch on Sunday. The ratings are not wrong! I couldnt decide between 2 entrees. The men at the next table were enthusiastic about their recommendations gordita and fajita salad but for comparisonss sake I stuck with the shredded chicken chimichanga Ive had at dozens of other places over the years. Fiesta Cocinas chicken chimi was exceptional. Not only did I not save half for leftovers like I planned, It was so good, I ordered a second entree the birria quesadilla to take home. And they have refried black beans! The space is small, very casual, and clean. Ill be back! If they ever expand and have a larger kitchen I hope they try to offer homemade tortilla chips. ”
“ We were in the area and Latin food sounded good and we were near Fiesta Cocina. Stopped by at 4pm on a Monday, place was dead. OMG, how?? I ordered the Birria Quesadilla and my husband got the mixed Fajitas. SO MUCH food, at a great price! We were able to get 23 meals out of each. Workers were very kind. Our food came very quickly, the restaurant was nice and clean. Wish we lived closer, if we are ever in the area, we will definiately be back! ”
“ The owners are wonderful and can speak English for those worried about ordering in Spanish. One of the best burritos, hands down, Ive ever had in my life. Visiting from New Mexico, so I am inundated in good Mexican food. Salas were excellent and flavorful, everything is made to order. You can hear it being cooked. If you want amazing Mexican food, look no further Kentucky! ”
“ We enjoyed a delicious late lunch here! The food was fresh and flavorful, and I have enough to take home for 2 more meals. I had the mixed fajitas and my sister had the quesadilla fajita. Both were excellent! The guacamole was excellent too. The prices are definitely reasonable. Its not a fancy dining experience, but it is very clean. We will come back here. ”
